Show-Me Corvair Club

St. John’s Lutheran Church (my church) will host a “Cars and Coffee” on Saturday August 10 from 8:00 until 10:30 a. m. Free donuts and coffee! No registration required.

There will NOT be an SMCC meeting at the Underground this Saturday 6/22. Instead, we have 2 other events scheduled for June: the Route 66 Car Club show in St. Clair that was held on Father’s Day and the SCCA Road Rally that will be held on Saturday 6/29. I had a member ask about a meeting this Saturday so I figured I better send a note to everyone to dispel any possible confusion, especially since there is a delay in publishing the June newsletter (Mark Moyer is having computer issues).

For July we have the parade on July 4th and the CORSA Convention on July 22-25. The 4th Saturday in July falls just 2 days later on 7/27. Some people attending the CORSA Convention will still be out of town on 7/27 (including us). So no plans for a meeting on 7/27.

For August we have the car show at Faith Church in Sunset Hills on Friday 8/2. We should probably have a meeting at the Jefferson Underground on Saturday Aug 24th. This will be confirmed in July.

Our February 2024 meeting is February 24 at 10am in our new room at the Jefferson Underground 2400 South Jefferson Avenue, Saint Louis MO 63104

John Carter has graciously provided a room dedicated to the SMCC on the second floor of his building.
